Customer/booker/orderer:

The customer commits to follow these conditions when purchasing products and services from vendor Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Manor).

The conditions apply to the rental and booking of the products and services.

 

 

Booking and ordering conditions

  • The customer is responsible for becoming acquainted with the service description and the instructions as well as the conditions related to the booking.
  • Preliminary bookings are only done according to separate agreements and in writing. The reservation does not step into force until the booking order has been received. Preliminary bookings and separate block reservations which have been made at the time of the booking should be confirmed separately and in writing until the agreed date. If the booking has not been confirmed until this time, the capacity and the services will be freed from the reservation.
  • The reservation/order made by the customer is binding when the order/booking/payment confirmation has been sent to the customer’s e-mail address.
  • The customer is fully responsible for his/her bookings which have been confirmed to him/her according to current conditions and pays for the booking through the chosen form of payment according to the terms of the form of payment.
  • The order/booking/payment confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address that has been provided by the customer.
  • Oy Svartå Gård Ab/Svartå Manor is not responsible for failed bookings that the customer has made, and he/she should contact Svartå Manor without delay to correct the situation. Svartå Manor can not guarantee that the specific service will still be available for booking at that time. If the service is no longer available, a new object or date will be offered when possible. If the booking can’t be moved to another date, or another object or service isn’t available, the prepayment that the customer has made to Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Manor) will possibly be returned to him/her.
  • A binding purchasing contract will come into force when the order has been confirmed (order/booking/payment confirmation).
  • A booking fee of 500€ will be charged of all new customers for group reservations with more than 24 people, done earlier than 6 months before the booking date. The booking fee will not be returned in case of cancellation, but it will be compensated in the final invoice if the event takes place.
  • For private group- and package bookings with more than 12 people the booking fee of 500€ will be charged when the booking is confirmed, regardless of the date of the booking. The booking fee will not be returned in case of cancellation, but it will be compensated in the final invoice if the event takes place.
  • For private group and package bookings with more than 12 people, 50% of the value of preliminarily ordered services will be charged, about 2-3 months before the booking date. This amount will not be returned in case of cancellation but will be drawn from the final invoice provided that the event takes place.

 

Cancellation of the purchase & repayment

  • The products can be returned within 14 days from purchase according to the Consumer Protection Law of Finland.
  • The right to return the product is valid only if the product’s condition meets its original condition.
  • Also, the package of any items must be in sellable condition.
  • For more instructions concerning returning, please contact the sales management.
  • The right to return does not concern engraved or other individual/personal products, accommodation services, or other services that are booked for a specific time.
  • Gift cards can not be returned.

 

Cancellations and changes

  • The cancellation date is the date when Oy Svartå Gård (Svartå Manor) has been informed of the cancellation.
  • Cancellations are always to be confirmed in writing.
  • The customer is responsible for doing the cancellation on time.

 

General Terms

  • when there are more than 30 days left until the beginning of the reservation period, cancellations are free of charge
  • when there are 21-29 days left until the beginning of the reservation period, 25% of the price of the canceled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • when there are 14-20 days left until the beginning of the reservation period, 50% of the price of the canceled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • when there are 0-13 days left until the beginning of the reservation period, 100% of the price of the canceled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.

 

Terms for a private party

A reservation fee of 800€ is charged when reservations are confirmed. The reservation fee is not returned if canceled but will be compensated in the final invoice.

  • If the customer cancels his/her reservation or a part of the reservation, when there are 4 months or more left until the beginning of the reservation, nothing will be charged for the cancellation
  • when there are 2-4 months left until the beginning of the reservation period, 50% of the price of the canceled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • when there are 1-2 months left until the beginning of the reservation period, 75% of the price of the canceled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • when there is 0-1 month left until the beginning of the reservation period, 100% of the price of the canceled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
  • For objects booked with a discount code, the entire price of the product will always be charged, regardless of the time of cancellation.
  • A single hotel room for one night and a single table reservation for max. 2 people, or a combination of these two, can be canceled without charge up to 24 hours before the reservation.
  • Regarding the terms of cancellation, it is possible for the customer and Svartå Manor sales management in case of exceptions to settle these separately and in writing. These agreements need to always be done in writing via e-mail and to be documented in the booking confirmation or order sent through Svartå Manor sales management.
  • In case of force majeure the customer may terminate the lease without charge by sending an explanation of the occurred. 

 

The right of the proprietor to cancel a reservation

  • In case of force majeure Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Manor) can terminate the lease. The customer is informed of the termination of lease without delay. In this case, the customer has a right to total reimbursement.
  • The customer will not be compensated for possible expenses that have arise at a lease terminated due to force majeure.

 

 

Delivery conditions


Usage of the object

  • During the time of the stay, the customer has a right to use the object and its equipment/inventory, as well as separately defined services.
  • If the booker notices deficiencies or other notable issues on the object, he/she should without delay inform the resource management of such.
  • The customer carries the responsibility for inventory and equipment that have broken or disappeared during his/her stay.
  • If the customer leaves behind a greater need for cleaning than normal, Oy Svartå Gård (Svartå Manor) will charge the costs for the additional cleaning, however a minimum of 50€.
  • The object is available to the customer during the time defined in the booking confirmation.

 

Pets at Svartå Manor

  • Pets are welcome to Svartå Manor in separately assigned hotel rooms, extra charge for pets +20 €
  • The booker carries full responsibility for any damage done by the pet.
  • You should inform us in advance of any possible pets, if you bring pets to the hotel without permission we charge an additional 50€ fee.
  • Pets must be on leash on the property of Svartå Manor.

 

Special conditions regarding vehicles

  • There are separately assigned areas for the parking of vehicles.
  • You may leave the vehicle in front of the hotel during the check-in, despite the prohibition sign. After the check-in, the vehicle should be immediately moved to an assigned parking space.
  • The driving speed in the park is max. 30 km/h.
  • Vehicles may never be left unattended in front of the manor museum, the loading platform, or the open-air theatre, nor on the rescue roads.
  • Permits of exception concerning vehicles are to be settled with the reception of Svartå Manor.
  • Disregarding the regulations will lead to the removal of the vehicle from the parking area at the expense of the vehicle owner, as well as a charge of 200€ for breaking the rule.
  • For disabled the use of vehicles on the Svartå Manor area is permitted according to instructions.
  • Charging of electric cars is possible against payment in preassigned places. The charging of electric cars should always to be notified in advance to the sales management of Svartå Manor This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

 

Special conditions regarding rented spaces and hotel rooms

  • The customer always uses the space, its furniture, and inventories on his/her own responsibility.
  • The spaces should be used carefully and only for their intended use.
  • The inventories and furniture may not be removed from the space or out of the Svartå Manor area, nor be leased to a third party.
  • The customer should at the end of the rental period leave the space in the same condition as it was when the key was handed over, on the agreed time and in the agreed manner. Standard cleaning is included in the rent.
  • If the return of the space is delayed, the customer is to inform Svartå Manor about this immediately. Svartå Manor has the right to charge rent for the exceeded time.
  • The customer is obliged to compensate for any damages on the furniture in the rented space that has been caused due to careless or wrong use, as well as the costs related to this.
  • The customer is obliged to compensate for furniture and/or inventories that have been destroyed or have disappeared during the rental period - to its current purchase price - if it has happened because of carelessness or wrong use by the customer.
  • The customer is responsible for following the transport, security, and other rules.
  • The customer is to report all faults and defects on the furniture and inventories, as well as on the equipment.
  • Svartå Manor is responsible for repair measures on the furniture and costs related to normal wear and tear.
  • Svartå Manor is not responsible for any possible direct or indirect costs derived from harm that the customer has been caused during the use or breaking of furniture or inventories.
  • Svartå Manor does not commit to compensating rented objects, inventories or furniture that have been broken with new ones, nor to compensating arising direct or indirect costs.

 

Keys

  • Keys to the hotel room or other rented space are given at check-in, or in situations of exception in a way that has been settled in advance.
  • The key to the conference/event space is given at the Svartå Manor reception to the contact person against acknowledgment. Both the person who hands over the key, as well as the receiver, acknowledge the key in the acknowledgment form.
  • Keys may not be given to any third party.
  • The customer returns the keys of the object according to the given instructions. Normally keys are returned at the reception at the end of the rental period where they were collected at the beginning of the period.
  • For a key that has been lost or unreturned, Svartå Manor has the right to charge all costs that have arisen due to copying of key or change of lock.
  • Svartå Manor has the right to charge at least 150 € in compensation if it is forced to unlock an object outside the reception opening hours due to lost or locked key.

 

Compensation for damage

  • The customer is obliged to compensate the business Oy Svartå Gård Ab for any damage that he/she has caused an object.
  • The booker is responsible also for other visiting persons and damage caused by them during the rental period.

 

Complaints

  • Possible complaints must always be made as soon as possible when a problem has arises.
  • In the case that a satisfying solution is not reached or if a compensation is claimed, the complaint should be sent in writing in two weeks time after the rental period has ended.
  • Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Manor) strives to process the complaint as soon as possible, but at the latest by one months time.
  • If the customer and Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Manor) do not reach mutual understanding, the customer can take the matter further to the Consumer Disputes Board.

 

Payment terms

  • Posting and package costs are included in the delivery costs. You can check the delivery costs in the web shop when you have chosen the payment and delivery method for the shopping basket content.
  • Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Manor) uses trusted and secure payment agencies for its services.
  • Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Manor) does not at any point store information about bank connections or credit cards, other than for billing customers and at bookings where the credit card data functions as a security for the booking until the services have been payed.
  • The customer commits to following the conditions concerning the chosen payment method.
  • Paying by invoice
    • Paying by invoice is only available for businesses and societies. In cases of exception, billing in arrears to a private customer is possible when this has been settled in advance and in writing.
    • Billing should always be settled in advance in writing with our sales management.
    • The bill should be paid on the payment date at the latest.
    • If the bill for the booked object has not been paid by the payment date, the reservation will be canceled and the object returned to sale.
  • As the payment system for the webshop, we use Maksukaista (Paybyway Oy, Business-ID 2486559-4), which is registered in the payment system register maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority. On the account statement and on the bill you will see Maksukaista/Paybyway Oy as payee. Maksukaista will transfer the payments to the online seller. The payment is secure since all data concerning the payment is transferred through a hidden connection so that no outside instance can see the data. The purchase takes place between the webshop customer and the webshop. All obligations concerning the purchase is the responsibility of the webshop.

  • If the transaction has not been completed at the time of the booking, Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Manor) does not process the order.

 

General conditions

  • The prices in the webshop include VAT.
  • We apply dynamic pricing on the rented objects. The prices vary each month, week, and day.
  • We sell products to full-aged private customers and to business customers.
  • We reserve the right to changes in the pricing.
  • The customer is responsible for the correctness of the data he/she has given.
  • Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Svartå Manor) has the right to use and leave registered address information for direct mail, distance selling, and for other direct marketing, as well as for market research and polls unless the customer has prohibited this. A prohibition can be done through the contact data mentioned in the conditions.
  • We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery. The customer should become acquainted with the at each time valid terms of delivery before going through with the order.
