Nestled right by the water, River Cottage offers a charming and private two-story retreat with stunning views of the Svartå River. Located near the hotel buildings and restaurant, yet secluded enough for a peaceful getaway, this cottage was originally built to host guests of Magnus Linder.

Perfect for those seeking tranquility or small group gatherings (like bachelor or bachelorette parties), the cottage provides a unique experience. Guests can enjoy a rowboat on the river, and the cottage features a shower connected to the sauna and a traditional outhouse in the yard (please note, there is no toilet inside the cottage). The sauna's door is conveniently located on the cottage's terrace, right by the front door.

While the cottage lacks a TV and WLAN, it offers a cozy retreat with a small kitchenette for preparing snacks. The restaurant’s breakfast buffet is included when served at Linnankrouvi. Final cleaning is included in the price, with additional cleaning services available for longer stays.

Though the cottage is close to other hotel buildings like Small Cottage and The Shingle House, it’s tucked away in its own private spot. Free parking is available nearby, and in good weather, guests can drive down a small road to the cottage.

Pets are welcome, and the nearby Mustio Manor guest harbor and scenic trails along Lake Lohja offer beautiful walks and jogging routes. The village shop is about 3.5 km away, easily reachable by renting a Jopo bike from the reception.

Driving into the park is only allowed for staff, suppliers, and guests with disabilities. There are unmarked disabled parking spaces in front of the reception/restaurant. Guests with disabilities may use these spaces during check-in or while visiting the restaurant. Staff parking spaces are located next to the restaurant building and parking in these spaces is not permitted. The nearest parking area for the following buildings is located by turning from Hållsnäsintie to the park area of Mustio Castle, next to the white wing building of the main building, Hållsnäsintie 89: The Manor House Restaurant Linnankrouvi, the Pavilion & reception Hotel Edelfelt Cottage sauna Summer theater The Stable onference and event room The nearest parking area for the following buildings is located at Yrttitie 57: The Merlin tower Big Cottage Small Cottage Shinglehouse Orangeriet wintergarden and sauna The Granary conference room Mustion Ruukinkatu 26 Stenvilla Apartments Parking in front of the summer theater is not allowed. Emergency access roads must always be kept clear. In the event of an emergency, vehicles parked on the emergency access road may have to be moved, and the vehicle could be damaged. Mustio Manor or emergency services will not compensate for damages incurred to vehicles parked on the emergency access road during an emergency.
